Fall is in the air and the weather is headed for a cool down this weekend.  The current situation on the Sacramento River near Anderson is building and there are more salmon moving into the Barge Hole every day.  If the bite is good, the catching is as well.  We struggled a bit with the windy days, but today saw a big upswing and our three boats were headed in with full limits for 8 anglers before 11:00 this morning.  We're going to see some tough bites with the weather patterns headed our way, but we'll have some really good days ahead as well.  There are fish headed our way from Sacramento, Hamilton City, Red Bluff, and will be filling the river below Coleman hatchery through October.  By November, we should see some fishable numbers of late fall salmon which will keep us busy until the salmon season ends on Deember 16th.  Our fall salmon season is mostly booked, but we have room for our late fall salmon trips looking forward.
