Fellow Sportsmen,

The ocean has been too rough the past few days and the bay has been very difficult. The bay has been basically just scratch fishing; you're lucky to get a couple halibut during a trip. Sometimes a bass shows up but it's tough. We have another set of decent tides coming very soon and the bait keeps coming into the bay so things should pick up.

I made our 1st ocean trip yesterday as the ocean decided to be a user-friendly. The water was a little bumpy but very fishable. The salmon are just not quite in the areas I like yet. My group had limit style rock fishing with early limits and 7 nice lingcod. We then spent some time on the North bar looking for halibut or what ever but no luck. I took the next couple days off to load up my barns with hay for the horses. I will be back on the water Thursday and will do 7 trips in a row. Enjoy the photos.

We would work at it for a while and then move over to shark fishing. In fact I hate to say it...... Read More
